what's in it for me? what's-in it-for me?

It's kinda nice seeing myself doing fine nowadays. Even though it kicked me back last night. It. Something I'm not discussing anymore. It kicked back even worse, but then it brought me the most beautiful dream I've ever had in the last few weeks.

I went to Dharmawangsa Square today with my favorite partner to spend the jobless moments together - Miyu. On our previous "gown hunt", she was still bugged by the fact that she would be in the middle of her umroh on the date of our prom night. But then it turned out that her mother's best friend (or so I assumed) would be married at that week, so they decided to postpone their umroh to few days after the prom night (which turned out to be the exact same date as my umroh schedule). Means that she'd be able to attend the prom night, so she needs a gown to be worn, true?

So we went on an observation today - a prom gown observation - whatever that means.

Then, in the middle of the walk, I - with the intention of nothing - said.. "Aduh, di sini ngga ada Starbucks yah?" (Gosh, do they have Starbucks here?). Then Miyu responded to that, full of eager, that she wanted it as bad as I do. While the truth is, we just had our cups when we had my prom gown hunt. It was on Monday, if I'm not mistaken. But whaddahell. We-wanted-it.

So we took off to Citos to have another cups.

And - of course - another shots.

And these are what's left from our yesterday's Sushigroove session.

I'm so jobless that I have nothing else to spend. I'm so broke, literally.

a coldhearted jerk broke my heart and refused to give me the pieces back

A phone call from Miyu woke me up this morning at 8:00. We were supposed to go doing our regular exercise but then I read an sms from my mom, saying that I should start doing a real serious search for a prom gown. So we decided to do some observation around boutiques instead of going to the gym.

Shopping with a real shopper pal is really a nice nice shopping. =p

So we went to Luve, Kampung Butik, PIM2. Where did I finally find a prom gown to be worn on July 15? Guess, baby, guess.. But surely we tried some gowns inside the fitting room, strike some poses, and.. well.. captured them up. Oh oh oh, how lovely.

1st gown
2nd gown
we're here to rob the boutique!

Actually there was the third gown but I couldn't recall the reason why I didn't capture myself in it anyway. Could it be because it was too.. uh well.. nevermind. I have no idea what to say, though.

I met Nadia at PIM2, and Lembu ClubEighties' girlfriend, and - for sure - some AGJs. Miyu wanted to buy some flatshoes but found none, so she bought something in Gramedia instead. I finally bought Devishanty's "Serenade" and "Perfume" while there're still hundreds of novels left unread in my bookshelf. Let's see.. a Star Wars novel, Ha Jin's "The Crazed", The Greatest something written by someone, Torey Hayden's "Jadie", Nick Hornby's "About A Boy".. Oh lalalala.. Where's my appetite towards those thickies, buddies?

i'm tellin' you to loosen up my buttons

I was so close to spend another weekend in Bandung (been spending it there for the last two weekends in a row) when yesterday a doctor told me that I should keep myself away from exhaustion as far as possible. Another uncommon thing inside my body is finally discovered. Argh.

And both my father and mother blamed my eating habit for this newly-revealed sickness I have. Whatever. What-fuckin-ever.

Ow ow ow! My graduation day on June 21 turned out to be soo touchy! It almost made me cry several times, but then I realized the mascara I was wearing wasn't the waterproof one so I chose to keep the tears swallowed back to the eyes.

Pictuures!

fadhil, fadhil, and me

Ehm, someone kept on sending me those 'udah makan belom?' kind of text messages. Unfortunately, I'm still not on that mood and he's not even my type, so I gotta say.. "Byee..".

Like what Wulan said :

"Syn, masalah lo tu bukannya ngga ada yang mau sama lo, tapi yang lo mau ngga mau sama lo."

Translation : Syn, your problem is not that noone is interested in approaching you, but the one who you're hoping to approach you doesn't seem to be approaching in the way you want to be approached.

Or.. something like that. ;p

breathe in, breathe out. goldies

Today's horoscope on Friendster for Cancer told me this :

There is absolutely nothing wrong with letting people help you -- even if you worry that they're doing all the work. You've been on the other side, so remind yourself how wonderful it can feel to give someone you care about that extra little something that cheers them up, gets them where they want to be or saves them time. Guilt is a valid emotion, but don't let it stop you from accepting the help someone wants to give you.

I was staring at it and the only thought that crossed my mind was 'how drastically untrue' until I finished three conversations on MSN and started to think that it might be - ironically - so true.

I finally see a spark of light. =)

It turned out that I won't be living in someone else's house, getting only a space of a single bed sized room during my upcoming study in Bandung. My parents decided to put me and my brother in the same house which means we'll be living like playing the game I was always into when I was in kindergarten - rumah-rumahan a.k.a. ibu-ibuan. Only this time, this involves a real living, a real household needs shopping, a real sleeping (or not sleeping - will be revealed within some months), and a real house. Weew, interesting, interesting.

Hey, my body fat's rate is FAIR. Hoho.
